It was an active summer with:

  • IPA's first annual meeting in two years, election of new officers, coordination with the town regarding water quality and the need for an alum treatment on Mystic Lake.

  • The first ever IPA Pond seminar on how a freshwater pond functions the problems affecting the ponds, and ways and means to deal with those problems.

  • Last there was a 3 stage cleanup spearheaded by 15-yr. old Ryley King and his 11-yr. old brother Chase where trash, litter, benthic barriers, and automobile tires were removed.
