It was an active summer with:
IPA's first annual meeting in two years, election of new officers, coordination with the town regarding water quality and the need for an alum treatment on Mystic Lake.
The first ever IPA Pond seminar on how a freshwater pond functions the problems affecting the ponds, and ways and means to deal with those problems.
Last there was a 3 stage cleanup spearheaded by 15-yr. old Ryley King and his 11-yr. old brother Chase where trash, litter, benthic barriers, and automobile tires were removed.
